GBTA will be hosting its second global Sustainability Summit on building a greener future for business travel on June 13 in Washington, DC. This one-day, high-level event, will bring together experts, industry and policy leaders to outline concrete solutions to manage the environmental impact of business travel.
2022 Sustainability Summits
Reducing emissions must be part of our game plan today to make sure we can still connect people and travel for business tomorrow. GBTA will be hosting its first ever Global Sustainability Summit on 8 November 2022 in Brussels, focusing on Driving Action on the Race to Net Zero.
This one-day, high-level event will bring together experts, industry and policy leaders to outline concrete solutions to decarbonize business travel, in alignment with the Paris Climate Goals – and concurrently to the 27th UN Climate Summit (COP 27), taking place in Egypt from 7 to 18 November.
Sustainability Pavilion, GBTA Convention 2022
GBTA unveiled its first-ever Sustainability Pavilion as part of Convention 2022 in San Diego. Over four days, attendees learned about sustainable initiatives and met experts and exhibitors across the business travel industry. Furthermore, sustainability was baked into the entire GBTA Convention – from a plant-based lunch on Monday, to eliminating 14,600 square yards of carpet, to digitizing our business cards, and more.
