Program Overview

GBTA WINiT Mentoring is a professional development program for GBTA members in business travel. It is designed to support women’s growth and advance gender parity in the industry, while also welcoming men who share WINiT’s values and are committed to being active allies.

WINiT 1:1 Mentoring

WINiT’s 1:1 Mentoring program is currently on hold as we finalize development of our new Mentor Match platform.

This upgrade is designed to create more meaningful connections, improve participant engagement, and support long-term success for both mentors and mentees.

WINiT Mentoring: Two Ways to Participate

 
WINiT 1:1 mentoring is a six-month virtual mentoring experience that pairs each mentee with one dedicated mentor for meaningful one-on-one support, guidance, and career momentum.
Must be a GBTA Member to apply.


WINiT Mini-Mentoring is a structured networking experience where mentors are paired with small breakout groups of mentees for a series of brief, focused conversations to share insights, offer guidance, and build meaningful professional connections.

Mini-mentoring is designed to fit your schedule – no long-term commitment required.

What is Allyship track?


WINiT Allyship track is a dedicated pathway within WINiT 1:1 Mentoring designed for men who share WINiT’s values and want to strengthen their leadership through active allyship and deeper understanding of gender parity in our industry.

Why Become a WINiT Mentor?


Becoming a mentor is a great way to give back to our community and make a difference in the lives of individuals in business travel. Join other seasoned professionals in sharing your knowledge, experience and wisdom with talented professionals from around the world, helping them navigate their careers. 

 

Recognizing the many capable mentors in our industry, the WINiT program currently has limited capacity for 25 exceptional new leaders and mentors worldwide. We will accept applications and notify applicants of their status and approval.

FAQ

How Does It Work?

Mentors and Mentees complete an online application indicating strengths — and for mentees, areas of opportunity. Mentors and mentees are matched, and the mentoring relationship begins. While our mentoring program is a one-to-one mentoring relationship, we use a cohort model — meaning that our mentoring groups start their six-month journey together, benefitting from shared mentoring events. The WINiT 1:1 Mentoring Platform will also serve as an ongoing resource for enabling connections to chat, blog, share videos, a resource library, and ultimately schedule meetings and host events. 

Who Is Eligible to Join?

WINiT mini-mentoring: open to all, does not require GBTA membership to join.

WINiT 1:1 mentoring: GBTA members are welcome to apply to participate in the mentoring program as a mentor or a mentee.
