The GBTA WINiT Awards celebrate the trailblazing women who lead, inspire, and drive change across business travel – recognized for their exceptional leadership, resilience, and confidence. Who Can Be Nominated?

WINiT Top 50 nominations are open to women leaders across the business travel industry worldwide. In addition, the new “Allies in Action” award recognizes allies who have made meaningful contributions to advancing equity, inclusion, and opportunity in the workplace.

Previous nominees reflect the full breadth of the industry: business travel professionals, journalists, entrepreneurs, and media voices from every background. WINiT welcomes nominations of individuals across all races, ethnicities, gender identities, abilities, and career paths, reflecting the rich diversity of the global business travel community. The only requirement? Every nominee must hold a current role in a travel-related company or organization.

GBTA employees, GBTA Board Members, GBTA Foundation Board Members and WINiT Strategic Advisory Board members are not eligible for nomination.

How are Award Recipients Chosen?

Nominations are reviewed by our Selection Committee based on the information submitted. The Selection Committee members are each asked to evaluate the top nominees for each category on a ten-point scale. Nominee scores are averaged, and the highest-scoring nominee will win the award category. In the event of any conflict of interest where a committee member may need to review a nomination from their company or themselves, a colleague or any other scenario that may represent a conflict), a ‘stand-in’ committee member will evaluate the nomination and provide a score.
